Hydrocotyle sibthorpioides 'Crystal Confetti' is a variegated pennywort used as low ground cover in damp conditions. It’s a good plant for the front edge of bog gardens because it stays low, spreads into gaps, and adds leaf detail even when nothing is flowering.

Appearance

It forms small rounded leaves with variegation on creeping stems. Height is usually only a few centimetres. In a wet, sheltered spot it can make a neat mat that trails slightly over edges and stones.
