Description of Sarracenia × moorei 'Brooks Hybrid'

Brook's Hybrid, or to give it its full name, Sarracenia × moorei 'Brooks Hybrid', is a hybrid of Sarracenia flava and Sarracenia leucophylla. It is a stunning plant that can grow up to a height of over 1 meter, and it boasts striking pinky, orangey, reddy flowers. The cultivar was chosen and named by Mike Brooks because of its exceptionally large and strong traps. In fact, it is considered one of the tallest Sarracenia cultivars, with pitchers that can reliably reach over a metre in height.

Plant photos above are of our Sarracenia × moorei 'Brooks Hybrid' mother plants. Divisions are taken from the mother plants and are planted into 9cm pots to be sold.
