Sarracenia leucophylla 'Hurricane Creek White'

Hurricane Creek is a stream tributary of the Perdido River in Baldwin County, Alabama. In a large field off the creek grew some of the finest Sarracenia leucophylla var. alba ever to naturally occur. Sadly, this site has now been largely destroyed (for pine production) with only a few Sarracenia remaining. Luckily, some of the beautiful white Sarracenia leucophylla var. alba were collected from the site before destruction. These are known as 'Hurricane Creek Whites'.

These Sarracenia leucophylla are much sought after amongst collectors due to their beauty and rarity.
