Description of Angelica archangelica (Norwegian Angelica)

Angelica archangelica is a tall aromatic biennial for damp soil. It forms bold stems and large domed flower heads that stand out in a bog garden.

Appearance

It produces thick hollow stems and divided leaves. In its second year it sends up tall stems with large greenish umbels. Height can reach 1.5 to 2m.
