Description of Butomus umbellatus 'Schneeweisschen'

Butomus umbellatus 'Schneeweisschen' is a white-flowered form of flowering rush. It keeps the same upright habit, but the flowers come out clean white in summer.

Appearance

It forms narrow leaves and sends up stems topped with umbels of starry white flowers. Height is usually 60 to 120cm.
