Plant Description

This is all green Dionaea muscipula is a vigorous grower that remains bright green throughout the growing season. Unlike most Venus flytraps, this form produces virtually no red pigmentation, even when grown in full sun. The result is a plant with fresh lime green to yellow-green traps that stands in sharp contrast to the many other Venus flytrap cultivars.

The traps are medium to large in size and are produced freely from a strong-growing rosette. Mature plants are capable of producing traps large enough to capture sizeable prey such as bluebottle flies and small spiders. The trap interiors remain the same vivid green as the outer lobes, with no pink or red flush developing under high light levels.

The cilia are long, slender, and evenly spaced, giving the traps the classic appearance of a standard Venus flytrap.

Plant photos above are of our Dionaea muscipula - All Green Form mother plants. Divisions are taken from the mother plants and are planted into 9cm pots to be sold.
