A trident is a 3-pronged spear and you can see why that inspired the name of this beautiful venus fly trap cultivar. Look closely and you will see the individual teeth form trident(ish) shapes.
This is a vigorous-growing Dionaea that will fill a pot to make an impressive display.
National collection description: DM129 “Trident”. Norman Parker (DCB 2012). Very large traps.

Plant photos are usually of the mother plant, not the smaller divisions offered for sale.
Divisions taken from mother plants are planted into 9cm pots. The size of divisions can vary greatly and will always be sent largest first. If you'd like to know the size of a plant before ordering, please feel free to get in touch.
