Description of Sarracenia × excellens X leucophylla MK-H94

This is a lovely-looking little Sarracenia hybrid. Although at first glance it appears to be a pretty Sarracenia leucophylla, one of the parents is a Sarracenia × excellens meaning that one of the grandparents is a Sarracenia minor. The S. minor adds a very subtle difference to the plant's shape.

The colouration is crisp with good definition between deep red and snow white towards the top of the pitcher and over the lid. We would argue that this Sarracenia is far prettier than many deemed worthy of having a registered name, you won't be disappointed!

Plant photos above are of our Sarracenia × excellens X leucophylla MK-H94 mother plants. Divisions are taken from the mother plants and are planted into 9cm pots to be sold. Division sizes can vary greatly and will always be sent largest first. If you'd like to know the size of a plant before ordering, please feel free to contact us.
