Here's an unusual, but attractive, Sarracenia hybrid!

This bright green hybrid is a cross of 2 anthocyanin-free (no red) parents in Sarracenia × gilpini f. heterophylla and Sarracenia minor var. minor f. viridescens. The gilpini parent is a hybrid of Sarracenia rubra and Sarracenia psittacina which carries curved pitchers growing in a rosette formation. The Sarracenia minor parent helps hold the pitchers slightly more upright and also adds to the 'helmet' shaped hood.

Plant photos above are of our Sarracenia × gilpini heterophylla X minor var. minor f. viridescens mother plants. Divisions are taken from the mother plants and are planted into 9cm pots to be sold.
