Plant Description

This great-looking Sarracenia was purchased by ourselves as Sarracenia alata 'Black Flag', presumably due to the dark hood that develops throughout the season.

We cannot find any information online regarding its origins, so please contact us if you know anything about it! Whatever the story behind this Sarracenia alata, it certainly impresses each year in the greenhouse with its distinct colouration and robust pitchers.

It's not a plant seen for sale very often, so grab it when you see it!

Plant photos above are of our Sarracenia alata 'Black Flag' mother plants. Divisions are taken from the mother plants and are planted into 9cm pots to be sold.
