Description of Sarracenia 'Diane Whittaker'

A beautiful Michael King Sarracenia Hybrid with stunning pinks that change throughout the season!

This hybrid was created by crossing a Sarracenia × excellens (Sarracenia leucophylla X Sarracenia minor) with S. leucophylla. The colouration is representative of the heavy S. leucophylla parentage but the S. minor grandparent certainly adds a touch of elegance to the pitcher shape. Worthy of a place in anybody's collection.
