Description of Sarracenia flava var. cuprea 'Lilian Cooper'

Introducing Sarracenia flava var. cuprea 'Lilian Cooper', a unique plant that boasts a veinless appearance, making it stand out from other varieties of Sarracenia flava. Grown from seeds sourced from a Green Swamp, North Carolina plant, this particular Sarracenia has a green and clean throat similar to Sarracenia var. maxima but with an exquisite pinky bronzey lid that develops beautifully over time.

This plant is named after Nigel Hewitt-Cooper's mother, making it an exceptional addition to any plant collection. Definitely one of our favourite cupreas!

Basic Sarracenia Care

Sarracenia flava var. cuprea 'Lilian Cooper' is easy to care for, given the correct conditions. An unheated greenhouse is an ideal location. Here are the 3 golden rules for healthy Sarracenia pitcher plants.
