Sarracenia flava var. ornata 'Outlaw' is a distinct clone from a specific, threatened locality in western Bay County, Florida. Its origin separates it genetically and visually from the eastern Bay County Sarracenia flava var. ornata populations.

This Sarracenia flava presents a compact form, averaging a little over 40cm in height. Its stature is a consistent trait across the site. The pitcher shape is notably fine and well-proportioned.

The 'Outlaw' clone is known for its detailed colouration. It develops a large, prominent throat blotch. The lid and upper pitcher display a network of sharp, dark pinstripe venation. With increased sun exposure, the lip, or peristome, turns a solid red. The veins on the lid also become more intricate and defined.
