This plant is a rare, anthocyanin-free form of Sarracenia leucophylla. It originates from a specific location near Perdido in Alabama, USA. The 'viridescens' form designation indicates its complete lack of red pigmentation. Without anthocyanins, the plant cannot produce purple or red colours. Its traps show a consistent green and white colour scheme.

Its pitchers are tall, upright and trumpet-shaped. They feature the same downward-pointing hairs as the standard. The lids develop strong, creamy white venation. The tube bodies remain solid green. This creates a distinct two-tone appearance. Its growth habits and trapping efficiency match those of the typical species.

Its flowers are yellow and hang upside down. This clone is highly sought after for its unique genetics. It represents a specific geographical variant.
