Description of Sarracenia leucophylla X × moorei 'Adrian Slack' - Clone G MK-H386G

Sarracenia leucophylla X 'Adrian Slack' Clone G is one of a series of clones produced by Miroslav Srba. This cross combines two of the most desirable influences in Sarracenia breeding. The result is a tall, elegant plant that takes height, vigour, and white patterning from both parents while developing its own distinctive character.

Pitchers are upright and slender, forming a strong vertical display throughout the growing season. The lower tube remains bright green, while the upper section develops increasingly dense white areolation as the trap matures. Fine red to burgundy veins run through these pale areas, creating a detailed network that becomes more pronounced in strong light.

The lid is broad and slightly undulating, with a heavily white background inherited from the leucophylla parent. In mature pitchers, the lid can become almost completely white, broken only by the contrasting vein pattern. The upper tube mirrors this effect, producing a bright, clean appearance that stands out among darker surrounding plants.
