Description of Sarracenia × moorei - Ian Salter Clone 3

This Sarracenia × moorei (Sarracenia flava X Sarracenia leucophylla) was selected and grown by renowned carnivorous plant grower Ian Salter in Wales. It looks like it may have originally been purchased as a garden centre plant that turned out to be a real gem as it grew.

It has a really lovely lid, which is quite large with a network of red veins running through it. The plant is generally a strong green colour but lightens to a more golden colour at the top with hints of cuprea tones.

As well as being a great-looking Sarracenia, it also exhibits a lot of hybrid vigour as a fast, strong grower.

Associated code: IS xM C3.
