Description of Sarracenia × moorei 'Joanna' X × exornata 'Peaches and Cream'

Sarracenia × moorei 'Joanna' X × exornata 'Peaches and Cream' combines two well-known hybrids, bringing together shape, structure, and fine veining. The influence of Sarracenia × moorei 'Joanna' adds height to the overall shape and upright growth, while Sarracenia × exornata 'Peaches and Cream' contributes a softer colour palette and surface pattern.

Pitchers are tall, slender and slightly curved with a smooth, tapering tube. The base starts green, often with a slight yellow tone, and transitions into a more patterned upper section. Veining is present throughout but becomes more pronounced towards the top, forming a clear network that stands out without fully covering the background colour.

The throat develops a defined red patch that spreads slightly into the upper tube. This sits below a broad lid that shows a mix of green, yellow, and soft red tones. The lid is held open and slightly forward, with a gently undulating edge. In strong light, the upper section can take on warmer tones, while still keeping the underlying pattern visible.
